I know this might be a random post but it has been on my mind since I "get" to wear nylons on a daily basis.... Does anyone have ideas of how to keep your nylons from running? I know that once a run starts you can use nail polish to stop it but for some reason my runs go through the nail polish after a few wears..... Any suggestions? Please help!

I hate nylons, maybe you can wear thicker tights in the winter, I am sure those don't run as easily.
I buy high end nylons from dillards or another department store. they are more expensive but i have found them to have better quality.
Sometimes if the run is in the toe, you can knot it and it stops the run, but that doesn't work other places. I agree though- the high end nylons are worth it to me.
So I haven't worn nylons in well, forever... terrible, I know. What kind of lady am I? But I googled your question, and this is one response I found:
"Make sure your toe and finger nails are free of rough edges, apply a little lotion to your feet and hands before donning your pantyhose and don't put your jewelry on until after you've donned your pantyhose. Another trick I've discovered for making my pantyhose last longer is to hand wash them with hair shampoo and let them drip dry. My pantyhose are now lasting 2 to 3 times longer than prior to doing this."
I don't know but sounds like a lot of work to me! But maybe it gives you some ideas to try!
Ug... I remember having to wear those everyday when I worked at the registrar's office. Just wait till you have to wear them while your 9 months pregnant! Good times :) Not sure how to stop the runs... I had the same problem. They were definitely an investment.
