Big Accomplishment

Many know that I like to run. I was just beginning to train for a marathon when we found out that I was pregnant. So, I put running on the back burner for a bit for a few reasons. I really didn't want to "hurt" the baby with the up and down motion that comes with running or I was tired. Instead of running I would go out and walk for a little while which for me just isn't the same... yes it is exercise but it just doesn't do the same as running for me. Anyway... both of my doctors (in PA and MD) have said that since my body is used to the exercise it won't hurt to run and it will also help my pregnancy in a lot of ways-- make labor easier, help blood flow to the baby etc... So I did just that and I went out this morning for a walk/run and did 2 miles. It felt great. Wahoo. Another plus side-- I am getting to know the area more with these walk/runs.

I bet it felt great to get out and run again! How has the pregnancy been so far? Feeling good? I can't wait to find out if you're having a boy or a girl!
