1. holds his head up pretty nicely
2. is starting to hate "tummy time"
3. smiles all the time
4. likes to wake up at 5 am and stay awake for a few hours like it is play time (I am still not used to this one)
5. starting to coo and make more noise when we talk to him
6. eating lots
7. and is probably over 11 lbs now
8. loves bath time
9. has a few favorite spots on our walls that he looks at while getting his diaper changed and while feeding. (If we lay him down at those spots he is usually content for a while and it sometimes even stops his crying)
10. is a very noisy baby especially while sleeping or waking up

Wow! I really cannot believe he's one month! Where does the time go? He's such a cute little guy! Is he only waking around five, or does he wake before that too? If so, consider yourself so lucky! That's great for a newborn!
