The Wedding

I know it has been about a month and a half but I thought I would recap the wedding.

My parents came in the Sunday before the wedding to get the last minute things done. It was nice to have them here for a while too. On the 26th we got all of the last minute food stuff and set up for the reception. In the afternoon Dan's family came into town. It was great to see them and I am lucky to have such good in- laws. After setting up we eat Craigos pizza (which is my favorite pizza here) and then we went to run last minute errands. Dan and I left each other early that night so we could have some time with our family before the BIG day.

The morning of the 27th.... I had a hard time sleeping that night which seems to be normal but I finally ended up waking up at 7:00am. After showering I went to my old apartment and my roommate curled my hair for me. I loved it. Then I came back to my apartment and Diana did my makeup for me and then we were off to the temple.

I was at the temple before Dan (can you believe that?) All of the workers joked about how he wasn't going to show up. I didn't even question whether or not he was coming I knew he would. Then we were escorted to the dressing rooms to get dressed and go to be sealed. I remember the peaceful feeling walking into the sealing room and seeing both sides of our families there. The sealer was great and I really appreciate the words that were said.

After the sealing we took pictures outside in the snow. Rexburg usually has some cold winters with one or two big snow falls and then it is just too cold for the snow to melt until Marchish. Well Dan and I were lucky because one of the snow falls fell on our wedding day. It was like 18 out and maybe 5 inches. It wasn't the biggest but it snowed ALL day but it made for some great pictures.

After taking pictures, Dan and I went and got something to eat at a little Mexican restaurant called Ramirez with his family. Then we went back to our apartment to pick up my luggage and found my family there playing the Wii. I was able to see an aunt and uncle who had come up from Utah but were headed back down because of the weather.

After leaving the apartment we went to the reception and were able to see some friends and family. It was so great to see those that I hadn't seen in a while. Dan and I were thankful for the support that we received from them. Since being married we have been so blessed and have enjoyed being with each other. Hope you all have a Happy Valentine's Day!
