More update...

I forgot to mention that Dan and I get married in four weeks from today :) I could get it to the second but that takes WAY too much time.....

Just an update!!

It has been a few weeks since my last blog so I just thought I would give a little update. Thanksgiving was great. I went to my sister's house for a nice little vacation, and had turkey dinner at my brother in law's brother's mother in law's house. (try to figure that one out :) The dinner was delicious. We had lil appetizers which were amazing and then the usual turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberries, jello and of course PIE. Sheila and those that helped did an amazing job.

Dan and I spent time with our families for Thanksgiving and most of that had to do with the fact that I had to work until 5:00pm on Wednesday. He was so kind to come up to Provo from St. George (where he has famiy) to see me and my family.

It was nice to spend time with my family and see my nephews. They are the cutest things and say the FUNNIEST things. I also saw my aunt and uncle that live in Hawaii. They were in Utah visiting family and my sister and I just ran into them in the mall. I love family and I love being around them.

We got a Wii :)

This past week I was trying to come up with an idea of what to get Dan for Christmas.... This year his Christmas present was going to be a wedding and birthday present because as newly weds we are not going to be "rolling in the dough" if you know what I mean. So I had "genius" idea I would get him a Wii. Well I let that idea roll around in my head for a few days and then I had the thought to see if he wanted to make that my Christmas/wedding present too. One we would be spending about the same on presents anyhow why not make it something we both wanted, two it would be one less thing to worry about with wedding plans and Christmas, and three Dan wouldn't have to come up with something to buy me either :) Well he really didn't even hesitate when I asked him. He thought it was so cool that it was my idea!

So this weekend we went out and beat the after Thanksgiving rush and bought a Wii. It really isn't a surprise to us so we figured we would let everyone else know too! The only thing is.. We CAN'T play it until Christmas. so if anyone is looking to have fun (after Christmas)... just come visit us in Rexburg sometime and we can have a party!!! I can't wait to play it. And I already have an idea of what to get Dan for his birthday :)

The Rexburg Temple

In more ways than one I am very blessed to be living here in Rexburg ID. I have lived here for about 5 years minus 2 years while I was on my mission and those winters I was home on my off track. I call this place home now since I work full time, have moved out of my parents' home (except for a few boxes:) and pay for all of my expenses.

One of the reasons I feel so blessed is because I have the opportunity to attend the temple regularly (Every day if I didn't have anything else to take care of). This temple is beautiful inside and out. That is the reason I decided to get married here. It has a little more significance than the Denver temple (the temple closest to my home) or any other temple.

Some of the other reasons I am blessed is because of the work that I have, the people I am able to work with, my ward, my roommate, and my friends that I have made up here.
