Nylons

I know this might be a random post but it has been on my mind since I "get" to wear nylons on a daily basis.... Does anyone have ideas of how to keep your nylons from running? I know that once a run starts you can use nail polish to stop it but for some reason my runs go through the nail polish after a few wears..... Any suggestions? Please help!

New night stand

Before (I took it after the drawers were out... oops)
After

When we were in CO my parents gave us a nightstand. So we refinished it and love it. Thanks mom and dad. And a special thanks to Sarahlynn and Brock who let us borrow their sander! Thanks.

New calling

Today I got a phone call this morning from the Ward Executive Secretary asking me to meet with one of the bishopric members. So I went in before church and was asked to be the pianist in Relief Society. So sadly, I will not be teaching anymore. I was really enjoying that calling. I got nervous every time I had to teach but I really liked it. Now instead of being nervous once a month I can be nervous every week :) j/k. One blessing about this new calling is I can develop my playing skills a little bit more which is something I need to do.

Temple to Temple

Today was the relay race from the Idaho Falls Temple to the Rexburg Temple. A group of co-workers and some of their family members and I were on a team. Yet again I don't have pictures but maybe soon I will get them on the computer. Our team consisted on Stephanie, Christian, Kristen, Rich, Brett, Brayden, Chris and I. We ran it in 5 hours ( a little less but I don't have the exact time) My leg was a 5.2 mile in the middle of the day and it was hard. Maybe I am a wuss but I really struggled with it unfortunately. It still went well and we all had fun.

Weekends

Do you ever have one of those weekends where there never seems to be a dull moment? That was this weekend for me! Prepare a lesson, garage sale, sanding furniture, get together for work out at Henry's Fork, games with some friends, cleaning the apartment, etc etc. It might not seem like a whole lot but it sure kept us busy this weekend.

Home Sweet Home

This weekend Dan and I toook off to CO. (a much needed trip home) I don't have pictures right now but our weekend went something like this.

5:30 pm- hit Holiday traffic from Denver to Colo Spgs. We went 30 mph from Denver to the Springs. (UGH... and I was driving)
7 pm- surprise my parents on their front step (they thought we were getting in around 10:30pm)

Saturday
Watch Carter's soccer practice
Go fabric shopping with my mom (I wish Rexburg had a Hobby Lobby) found some fabric to make a blanket. YEAH!!!
Eat lunch
Play Wii with my nephews (hilarious) and the rest of my family ( good to see my brother)
Eat dinner
Watch Cars with nephews (Dan had never seen it all the way thru)

Sunday
Church
Sunday drive
Dinner with family
Play the Baer family dice game (my mom is so good at luck games :) )

Monday
Watch dad pace the other marathoners (YEAH DAD!! Ran it is 4 hours)
Shop
Eat
Watch a movie

All this equals a fun filled weekend. I was so nice to spend time with family and just relax. According to Anderson, Dan is my friend, brother, and father :) HAHAHA!
